• FaceTime comes pre-installed on iPhones. Just open the FaceTime app. Make sure your iPhone is on iOS 15 or later for full features.

Tap the + button in the FaceTime app. Enter a contact’s name or number, then tap FaceTime to start a call. If someone has sent you a FaceTime link, tap it to join the call. Apple Support

• During the call, tap the screen to show controls. • Tap the camera icon to turn your video on or off. • You can also switch cameras between front and back with the flip icon.
